GreenLeaf — Sustainability Consulting Website

The Challenge

GreenLeaf's previous WordPress site was slow (5s LCP), hard to update, and treated their research library as an afterthought — burying their strongest sales asset three clicks deep. They needed a fast, editorial site that put research and case studies front-and-center for procurement teams evaluating ESG partners.

Our Solution

We built a Next.js site with static generation for every page, a research library with filtered browse by topic and industry, case study format modeled on strategy-consulting deliverables, gated ESG resource downloads (lead capture without feeling gated), and a services architecture that mapped to enterprise procurement search language.

Results & Impact

Largest Contentful Paint reduced from 5.1s to 0.9s on mobile
Research library traffic increased 8.4x with prominent placement
Enterprise lead conversion rate on service pages up from 1.2% to 4.8%
Ranked page 1 on Google for 'ESG consulting for retail' in 90 days

Frequently Asked Questions

How was the research library structured for both browsability and SEO?

Every research piece was indexed by topic (Climate, Governance, Supply Chain, DEI), industry (Retail, Manufacturing, Finance, Tech), and format (Report, Brief, Framework). This gave visitors precise browsing and gave Google clear topical clusters — driving page 1 rankings for 'ESG consulting for retail' within 90 days.
