The Challenge
Tastee's web platform was handling ordering well, but mobile users needed a faster, more native experience — especially for repeat orders. The web checkout required 7 taps to reorder a previous meal, and there was no way to track delivery drivers in real-time on mobile browsers.
Our Solution
We built an orange-themed native app with delivery address selection, category-based restaurant browsing (Pizza, Burger, Biryani, Sushi, Desserts), restaurant detail pages with menus, ratings, and delivery estimates, an add-to-cart system with quantity controls and 'View Cart' overlay, a promo code input at checkout, real-time GPS driver tracking with status timeline (Order Confirmed, Preparing, Out for Delivery), and a dedicated Offers tab with coupon codes (FIRST50, FREEDL, TASTEE30). One-tap reorder from order history reduced repeat purchase friction to a single gesture.
