The Challenge
MediCare's patient portal was desktop-only, forcing patients to call during office hours for appointments. 73% of patients under 40 wanted to book, consult, and manage prescriptions from their phone — but the responsive web version had no video calling capability and couldn't access device health sensors.

We built a teal-themed healthcare app with four core actions on the home screen (Book Appointment, Video Consultation, Find Doctors, Health Records), a doctor directory with specialty filters (Cardiologist, Dentist, Neurologist), ratings, and pricing, an appointment booking flow with calendar date/time selection and in-clinic vs video call options, a WebRTC-powered video consultation room, real-time health vitals tracking (Heart Rate, Oxygen, Steps), and a digital prescription history with medication details and dosage schedules.
