The Challenge
Flexpay needed a wallet app that felt as instant as cash but safer than a card — sub-second peer transfers, biometric auth on every payment, encrypted card storage on device, and a spend analytics view that helped users understand their money without judging them for it.
Our Solution
We built a React Native app with FaceID/TouchID gating every transaction, encrypted card storage via device secure enclave (Keychain/Keystore), a Node.js backend on Postgres for the ledger, and Stripe Connect for card-to-card and P2P transfers. Spend analytics runs on-device to keep transaction data private.

Is Flexpay PCI DSS compliant?
Yes. Flexpay achieved PCI DSS Level 1 certification on the first audit. Card data is never stored on our servers — it lives encrypted in the device's secure enclave (iOS Keychain, Android Keystore) and is tokenized through Stripe Connect for all transactions.
How fast are Flexpay peer-to-peer transfers?
Median P2P transfer completion time is under 800ms end-to-end. This is enabled by pre-authorization at the sender's device (biometric confirmation runs in parallel with the network round-trip) and instant balance updates via WebSocket push to both sender and receiver.
